I had posted a thread which was clearly not inciting anyone to participate in a money-making venture but was for a non-profit worthy cause.

It seems to have disappeared!!

A sad day when the tackling of such an issue is seen as wrong. Yet, NOT dealing with it is wrong!

I have had communication stating the rules re. the 'profit-making' blah blah blah. Perhaps my thread was reported? If so... shame on you!! scold

And so bullying, oppression and dictatorship continues........ it would seem.

I have been here many years and never before have I experienced such opposition to a good and positive thing on the Forums.

sigh

wave Sorry did not see the thread.
By the sounds of it the rules were
broken and this is not allowed on CS.
Been there done that before and yes
the holier than thou had a go at me.
So advise caution when posting a thread
and good luck on CS. wave

FYI...
Your thread was removed because it breaks Forum Rule #3 which states:
"No soliciting of any kind for websites, charity or petition sites, products or services, or directing people to other websites."

CS does not have staff available to check out the validity of every good cause or petition site that members post, so for safety reasons none can be posted. The reason for this rule can be found on the CS Scam Warning page under the heading 5)Soliciting: Charities, Petitions, and Good Causes
