I'm not too familiar with the terminology.
Hello there :)
No wonder you're not familiar with the above mentioned structure....
It simply does not exist in the English vocabulary.
What does exist is the form 'extinct' (an Adjective) with the following meanings: 1 a : no longer burning
b : no longer active <an extinct volcano>
2 : no longer existing <an extinct animal>
3 a : gone out of use : superseded
b : having no qualified claimant <an extinct title>
Etymology: 1400-50; Late Middle English < Latin ex(s)tinctus=put out, quenched, past participle of ex (s) tinguere=to extinguish.
Here are some of the lexical constructions that are commonly used in the English language (..can never go extinct, should they be extinct, could be extinct, likely to be extinct...will go extinct..., etc.)
The Noun form = Extinction
The Antonym = Unextinct
Hope this clarifies your confusion dear :)
Cheers :)
