There are two types of thinkers in this world; abstract and concrete. Abstract thinkers are in touch with themselves; concrete thinkers don't like to think about those sort of things. So you cannot just generalize, lumping everyone into one category. For me, if I need space, I need space, but if it is someone I care about, I will be kind about it, not just disappear.

Yep, we used the terms of linear vs non-linear minded people. those that can not see things any other way then in large generalities and limited room for growth were usually linear minded individuals.

I agree, women don't realise sometimes men need space, it doesn't mean they don't love them, it just means they are normal males.

Usually they're written by someone who have never been in a relationship or else like to pigeon hole people into one lump.
Men just like us women are unique and not at all like you might read about in those books you read.
WE all like our space sometimes and just want to spend some time alone.
It's called being understanding and practicing patience.
