I was glued to the tv in 1991 and watched everything that the General said and wherever he said it. I remember this briefing because it was when I learned that the Communications Center where everything happened was in Florida.
I read that the General died from complications of pneumonia.
It isn't often that we as a nation mourn a soldier of his status.
May his wife and family know that the country appreciates his service, dedication and patriotism...
