With the download culture so prevalent, it was only a matter of time before this happened, recon Xtravision will be the next casualty...
Gonna be a toughy for those who dont have good enough web connectivity ...
Personally, its been six months since I braught a DVD and over a year since i spent cash on a CD...
300 employees and 14 branches will be effected in Ireland (dunno if thats the north as well)...

Shame, I grew up with fond memories of Woolworths in England, and when they went to the wall i was truely shocked, 'how could this be allowed to happen, a british institution', but business is no respecter of 'tradition', money, profits and shareholder dividends are key....
Ill miss the Saturday's spent traipsing round HMV while the others dive into Harvy Nicks and Handbag World, t'will see me sitting in the car on a Saturday afternoon listening to the footy on the wireless instead...Boring!........
