I realse it not for everyone, and land rights could, indeed would be an issue here in Ireland, but come on, if you had the chance of such a smart and stress reducing way of keeping a roof over your head, wouldn't you consider it?....I know i would..... ...

HI Tease....
I was bowled over by the 'Trogladite' cave dwelling, it makes all the sense in the world, warm in winter, cool in summer, and the look of the place just knocks any 'new build' for six with regards style....
That said, the lady who did puppet theatre and built her own micro home just had such a sence of life priority, you kind of wonder why we all dont just say to hell with it all, live with what we actually need, not with what we think we need....
And the converted 'tool shed' in the field, ah, ya get where i'm coming from, I just thought it was great, a possible way out of the debt cycle, but I'm not forgetting the land and ley practicalities...

hehe. Some of them places reminds me years ago of some Bedsit I rented. lol I was living with a quare wan and I had to bail out quickly 'cos she was getting dumped.... really quickly so I got this place as a stop over. I still remember €82 a week (£IRL65). Christ... I couldn't go back to it.
Nice one AB, would love to live in a camper van, change location every time I get bored
