Ah, Oscar was my favourite Sesame Street character. I loved to see his soft side come out from behind his cranky exterior. And he was cuddly.

I do like to call someone special somthing special. smile

If someone gives me a pet name which "fits" me or the situation, I do like it, but I would object against Pookie or Love Bear. laugh

I hate my name being shortened, but the last guy I dated shortened it sometimes as a pet thing and I did not mind, it was endearing because of how it was used.

I like pet names if they fit and mean something and are kinda fun.very happy

Never really was one for using or being called pet names but my ex used to call me kitten and I rather liked it. Thought it sweet. Probably because it was the first time I'd ever had a nick/pet name of sorts.

I don't know what he's called now but it was so that children wouldn't try to eat too many cookies. It won't be long before sugar is an illegal substance in America....probably not a bad thing, actually.

Anyway, "Cookie" and "Sugar" are pet names for girls. Any pet names for guys out there? grin

I think it's nice to find pet names that have a special, secret meaning to both of you. Then it doesn't just seem like he can't think of your name when he talks to you roll eyes
