benni2eire, Tipperary Ireland26 Threads 2,399 Poststhinking of taking up metal detecting.but need a few pointers if any of ye are clued up on it.firstly i already have a metal detector its a md3006 model but the instructions are in chinese or russian or something.secondly do you have to declare what ya find or can ya just powerhose it and stick it up on done deal,nice little viking horde or a couple of auld chalices would do me to start off
seems to be loads of people at that crack now...I think looking for artefacts is illegal unless you have a licence for it..doesn't stop people doing it but
