Australian Immigration, cracks down on fake marriage scheme

You know, there will always be those that find ways around the "system".
The fall out of these minorities, is that the rest of us get caught up in the restrictions as well.
My fiance and I have spent a small fortune just to jump through the insane hoops that legitimate couples are thrust upon them. After all, it is a great money earner for the government and has nothing to do with stopping illegitimate law breaking.
So now how many other legitimate marriages are going to be denied by a government hungry for money, not justice?
This stuff happens everywhere, and again it is only a minority that do this sort of thing.
And where these 'houses' are located happen to be amongst 'immigrant' communities. So just deport them. Simple.
But no, our government whacks up the exorbitant fees for legitimate couples, and does very little to the criminal perpetrators. You get more punishment for stealing a couple of bucks than for murder nowadays.
