What if you thought you met your soulmate, but lost him to someone else. Does that mean soulmates are just a state of the mind? The truth is my heart is broken...Guys, be nice. comfort

I have a friend who is a serial monogamist. Every time he falls in love again, he says..."I've finally met my soulmate". I've been known to respond to him... a little sardonically, "Is this soulmate #37, or #38"?.

They're always our soulmates until the bubble bursts and we see them as human, fallible creatures.

Cynically Yours...sigh

You're so right! What's your opinion on this: My soul mate and I met nine years later. He told me that he's married to someone who is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Six months after dating her, he found out that she has cancer. We decided to stay friends. Do you think that I should cut him loose? I have a tremendous amount of respect for him. How many of us would do that for a spouse of only six months. I apprediate your imput. :)

Miss manners would say run for the hills, because this story he tells you isn't adding up. Then again if he is telling you the truth, his wife may live a bit longer than expected, and he would be cheating on her the entire time. Run!!!!!!!

Thanks for your response. His story is true. I agree with both of you...I will move on. Just for the record, I would (never) get intimate with a married man.

I've thought I met "Ms.Right" on a couple of occasions. Turn's out I was wrong, dead wrong. I did let it get me down but, I just kept in mind that I know I'm a great person and if that person can't see this then they're not someone I want to waste my time with! Just mean's that some lucky lady will get what I have to offer! Yes, I'm confident in myself! LOL!

Sometimes we think...oh yes this is the one...I am so over that...I listen now to my spirit...darn that spirit lol...I think my spirit is inlove with me!;)
On a more serious note...when it's right...it's truly right...period.
Listen to the voice within.
