ive had 1 near death exprience but it was when i was younger and i was feeling low.
im not going into detail here why i did it but i remember blacking out, everything went like a bluey green colour and i had of feeling of contentfullness and it was as if nothing could harm me. but the wierdest thing was im sure someone grabbed me and pulled me back. with that i woke up needless to say that experience will always stay with me.

I was very nearly in a bad car accident once. I saw sequences of my life flash by very quickly in my brain. I will never forget that experience. It has never happened to me since that time.

Regards,

Lorraine.

I have almost drowned as a child but did not loose consciousness or fight it...fell in the water of the "quaie" for 30 secs or so until my mother pulled me out and I remember feeling calm under the water...I could see the sunray beaming on my floating curly blonde hair all around me in the water and I was mesmerized by it...until I felt someone grasp me and pull me out...I think I was shocked after realizing it but then happily sat between two nice ladies and ate their chips! I was 3 and a half then and it happened in New-Brunswick(Pokemouche). that is not my near death one...and then of course another story from my daughters childbirth...but only close...did not actually loose pulse and breath and all like the one time.

I should have been more clear, not to dismiss any of your replies... I'm looking for the light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel type of experience, along with being out of body, seeing oneself from above.

my cousin has had a few of those and the one I know the more of is the one where she says she could see the doctors and the emergency team working on her and trying to save her. She says she believes in god and says everytime she has put herself in his hands.

That time her lungs had collapsed...she was about 15 and was in a coma for about a month or so...she said afterwards it was dark and she layed there motionless hearing everyone who came to visit...

I wish she were here to tell you all..but as per what she said yes there is a light...but from there...I am not sure...all she knows is that his light is warm and comforting.

for me it was more of like a flashing image one after the other thing that happened...and when I came too I felt this sort of choc vibrating through my body...or hum...and then it took me a few to realize where I was and what was going on...the feeling left me uneased at first but yet it seemed to have changed me...I seemed to have felt reborned and given a second chance.
