Thanks Aria for taking the time to write your thoughts. I think that you and Gibs are right. I'm just hurting.
As I wrote, I would not have written the whole story on a public forum however, you were kind enough to repond and you asked for the story.
Maybe my friend is just too "ga ga" about his new romantic interest and just assumes that his friends will just always be there - that they don't need any nurturing. I don't know. However, I am just going to leave it alone and give it time.

I picked Gibs posts as some of it is some of what i would tell you.
Perhaps try to remember the wonderful things that you gained and perhpas he could even just not be ready...imagine how it is when you first meet someone and you are all about them.
sometimes having to talk about what is going on in the moment wether it be good or bad can be draining. Does not mean he does not want to share his happiness with you..I think if I were in a situation as such it would be because something good is going on and would hope my friends would understand. When he told you he had thought about you but not written to you he was being honest. As he could have simply brushed it off with a "I didn't have time and I knew you're computer was down excuse...."
This is affecting you too much...somehow you need to cry your 2 hours and then move on and face it full force..if not you will drag it and let it happen to you again.
You need to have more of a back bone Lorraine!
