NNJBBVaasa, Western Finland Finland1 Threads 2 PostsMy last vacation was in 1997, so I am overdue for another one. My problem is where to go having traveled much during my life. I am not one for the beach or the hotel pool, but rather music and dance, museums, old markets and cuisine etc. I plan to go the 2nd week in December 2013 till the first week in January next year, so if you have any suggestions I will be most grateful. North America, Canada and the Far East are out, already been there. Somewhere in Europe that does not close for the festive season. Many thanks in advance.
... may I suggest you to visit France or Switzerland ? they generally both are lovely cultural and traditional places to see, especially at the end of the year..
