yes,very sad about what has happened,I was shocked to know that there are 100's of after shocks which occur every now and then still.I wonder how the people cope up with this stuff.

Earthquakes can occur anywhere, so picking out Christchurch is a bit misleading, especially as your own continent has a far greater number than New Zealand.

Sir,I picked up Christchurch because I applied for a course in a university which is in Christchurch,so it would be obvious for a person to be curious of knowing about the safety of the place.
