I noticed between the progs I watch
Wink Bingo
Kitty Bingo
Lucky Pants Bingo
Tombola, is that Bingo also?
Sun Bingo
Mecca Bingo
Bet Victor
Bet this one that one and the other one.
Poker here and Poker there.
This Casino and that Casino.
Free cash to play, £20 £30 just to reel the folks in.
Ah you must put your credit card details in first as
deposit.
The National Lottery is now £2 I believe.
The Health Lottery
The Post Code Lottery.
Is there more?
Has the UK gone totally gambling crazy?
Just wondered does anyone else notice this or is it just
me that feels you in the UK have so much money to fall for
these kind of tricks.
Still each to their own, just an observation.

Yep - and it so bad on fb as well

and I have a gremlin in this system, which I can't figure out to remove that keeps trying to take me to another site when I click on a thread here on cs - sometimes I emoticons and others times I don't

Even though I am getting a new computer for xmas - this lappy is and has been very reliable - so after seeing the comments posted about linus - I am going to install it on this lappy, with xp -

If you did you would see so many of these sites.
Play this and play that.
Do they think folks have nothing else to do but gamble
their hard earned cash.
Maybe they do just that. STill its their choice.

A flutter is something but stuck to a screen and the money
disappearing in front of your face is something else.

Its just my opinion and not up for attack.wave

Your right, you only have to look down the local high street and count the number of Betting shops. In my local town there are 5 within a space of 600 yards? what's the saying speculate to accumulate, only one happy is the person owning the shop.

North West area seems to have a preponderance of betting shops and pubs, but the latter in slow decline too, no sooner they close, it becomes some sort of fast food chain. Everything seems geared to spending money you have not got in the vain chance of getting that Big Win being neither gambler or heavy drinker little chance of me getting the big win or drinking myself to death :)

This isn't just relevant to the UK though. Advertising through the media has always been there in many countries.

Even worse are the number of Credit Companies that are allowed to peddle their wares and encourage people into borrowing money way beyond their means.

Gambling is a disease for some people, and they should curb these adverts but it's just another way of making money I'm afraid.sigh

**Has the UK gone totally gambling crazy?**
Short answer - Yes - We now have a generation of deperstae disenfranchised people of all ages.

That is all thanks to the Tories who, since the early 1970'intially encouraged the Yuppie and City greed and the uncontrolled gambling culture of the banks. In 1972 Heath removed all the training grants from employers in the skilled industries.

In the 1980's Thatcher deliberaletly set out to destroy the nation's manfacturing base, denationalised ALL of our natural assets including rail & road transport by allowing everything under public ownership to be sold to German, French and other Foreign owned companies to benefit shareholders rather than customers and with many politicians having enough wealth and fingers in the foreign pies they made a financial killing and now manyt of us are paying well over 10 percent of our income for energy and since 2012 the co-alition governement deliberately prevented any Energy company from offering the 25% discount to Pensioners BY LAW like they used to.

Not content with that they KNOW they created and encouaged the benefits culture when they stopped the DSS wage stop which meant that anyone in full time work HAD to be paid more than the dole which led to all the temporary, part time and casual work that the Tory employers wanted so they could avoid paying Holiday and sick pay in the 80's. The result was to create parastite businesses that are entirely dependent on peoples misery for their income achived by closing down various Mental institutions and Council run government funded and properly supervised establishments for the ederly by removing all funding, which was tantamount to a form of back door genocide -- They and the Liebore Government that followed Major in the 90's under B Liar and Brown (admirers of Thatcher) also deliberately sabotaged pension schemes by underhand methods.

At one time in the 1980's Thatcher, under the dubious guidance from her fascist leaning Right wing Etonian/Oxbridge Think tank even considered compulsdory euthenasia at age 70 -- to save the financial cost of paying the state pension and providing medical care to the elderly. Osborn is mutterring about such costs now !!

Sham Moron is an Etonian/Oxbridge right wing Thatcheriute career politician and Boris Johnson is similar. Johnson is now openely saying people with lower IQ's should be classed as inferior so -- Look Out Britian - The Far Right Fascists are leaning towards another period of *Superior Race* and *Final Solution* ideology.
