The average person thinks about 60,000 thoughts a day.
95% of them are the same thoughts as yesterday.

Think outside your daily patterns. Post one. Simple, complex, whatever you choose.

For my part, looking at the maelstrom of snowflakes outside my window, I think no one can prove that no two snowflakes are alike. It's not possible to catch, measure and log each one to compare.

You presenting these as new thoughts? I suspect they're part of the 95% you having running through your mind every day.

Expected better from you, Gibs.

Every thought I ever have is a new thought as it has been changed if not by more than the simple fact I am not the same person I was when last I thought it. Therefore I am unable to have the same thought twice. As a matter of fact I'm different since when I wrote Every, and yet again now etc etc.

To appease you though ...

I wonder what those fish flakes would taste like over there on the table? Probably not what you're looking for either.

You premised your original post with simple, complex, et al. Now I find myself faced with meeting your 'expectations'.

This one isn't new today, but might be more along the lines of what you're looking for ...

If science has become able to manipulate mass(simple objects) with air, and recently with sound (via how it moves air) is telepathy merely a form of manipulating air as opposed to 'dealing' with the object itself. Would one have to move air or the object? Are they exclusive? Chaos and the butterfly.

Damnit, I meant telekenisis, NOT telepathy. That's another thought grin

My simple thought at this moment is that you two really should meet. I am sure you would like one another. The distance isn't far and requires no telekenisis...

That nothing is ever planned as it should...but that things take each their own course.

Now my house will have to have a wood stove... and a gaz stove even perhaps!

(Thoughts after 2 days of electricity on and off again, no internet, and phone intermittent...:-S )

sigh

Whoa. "Science has become able"?

I think not. The ability has always been there. Scientists are now aware of it.

Moving objects by moving the air or sound around them is a start... transporting an object or oneself, if you buy into Quantum Mechanics, is also possible.

Imagine the abilities we haven't tapped into yet.

Just because it has always been doesn't mean science has always been able. Science is a term that represent collective knowledge, and being able to understand and use that knowledge to some end at some point.

EVERYTHING is possible.

As for imagining the possibilities ... I was until you contradicted me tongue

Maybe it (telepathy) is like radio waves or magnetic forces.

As if anyone contradicting you would stop you in your tracks!

I take exception to your statement purely on semantics. I choose the definition that science is a discipline involving the development and evaluation of natural explanations for observable phenomena. "Science" does not have "ability". Scientists, however, do. As do all of us.

Yes, everything is possible.
