RE: who are the biggest threat to world security

Funny, no one has mentioned the "New World Order" yet, where the brainwash and propoganda is the "order of the day". Money determines where the next war takes place and not any one country or race.....

Google any of the following and read on.....

New World Order

Bildeberger Group

Black Pope

RE: monica lewinsky turns republican

That one is as old as granny feet and twice as corny.yawn

RE: Why do younger men go into older women profiles???

Dear Dawn,

Yes, I have visited your profile. If you see someone's picture on the forums and click on it, it is the only means of seeing their age. It then indicates on your "who's viewed me" that someone came to visit. So what would you have someone do? Suggest to CS that your age must be listed under your pic?

Personally, the reason I have visited your profile was because you have the Ottawa Valley listed as your residence.

RE: What does it take'

Jan, you have always been part of my crowd......and that is important!

I too, am here off and on, but not for hours in a day. So keep yourself beautiful and join any of my forums, anytime.

RE: THE LAST ONE TO POST HERE IS A SUPERSTAR.......PART 7.

Being the last to post here does not restrict me from being a superstar. After all, I have been one my whole lifeyay

RE: If you were going to lie about your age,how many years could you pull off?

If you have to lie about your age, then where else does it stop?

Be true to self and those you love will be true to you.professor

RE: What did you do over the summer??

The itsy bitsy spider....

Sorry for anyone who may have misintrepreted...

The itsy bitsy spider....

OK, back to the spider....

This next story happened today and again, involved the spider;

Although I marvel at spiders and their webs, I do not like themm occupying my passages or paths. When I arrived home this evening, I noticed a silken surprise shadowing my studio. Caught momentarily in the woven web were two male mosquitoes, one attached to the back side of the other, like what I have seen from dragonflies. I always thought that the dragonflies were mating, since I did not know if it was male/female interaction, I just figured nature had a way of knowing procreation!??!!! How do I know that it was two male mosquitoes? Male mosquitoes are huge compared to the female and these two were not only big, but equal in the sick together size. Anyway, they escaped the "wrap and wrath" of the spider and happily fluttered off in harmony....

RE: Men becoming too romantic?

Funny how the smallest of tokens open the biggest of places...

The itsy bitsy spider....

I had ants in my house before and was told that if you put down aspertame, that they will bring it back to their nest for distribution. Apparently ants work very well together but if aspertame is involved, they lose their sense co-habitation and attack each other. Sounds like aspertame may be addictive for some....conversing

RE: Men becoming too romantic?

Well the poetry I just posted is not my own, although it makes me think. I haven't sent you flowers, other than of the virtual nature and I do not know your new address to send you chocolate so I was wondering if I might qualify for the "less than a nuisance" type?

The itsy bitsy spider....

Hello eyes of the sea...good to see you too!

The itsy bitsy spider....

and now, if you have read it, I will tell you what I have witnessed in my slow, observant moments as of late;

The other day, I watched as a tiny ant clutched upon the leg of a "daddy-long-legs" spider. The poor spider dragged the relentless ant across the terrain, both stone and soil yet it could not shake the ambitious ant. I watched the arenea trample arduously in it's arena to no avail in losing the assertive little ant. The spectacle lasted a good half-hour and in it's show, I saw how the spider attempted in vain, to curl up it's leg and attack the ant with it's chelicerae yet unable to pierce the predator due to it's armour....

Eventually the tiny little perserverant dragged Mr. Spider home for dinner.

I have never witnessed that marvel of nature before. I have seen ants drag things one hundred times their weight, but they were already non-living creatures. This time showed me their ferocity.wow

The itsy bitsy spider....

First I want to post one of my favorite pieces of literature;

SLOW ME DOWN, LORD

Ease the pounding of my heart by the quieting of my mind. Steady my hurried pace. Give me, amidst the day's confusion, the calmness of the everlasting hills.

Break the tensions of my nerves and muscles with the soothing music of singing streams that live in my memory.

Help me to know the magical, restoring power of sleep. Teach me the art of taking "minute vacations"...slowing down to look at a flower, to chat with a friend, to read a few lines from a good book.

Remind me of the fable of the hare and the tortoise; that the race is not always to the swift; that there is more to life than measuring its speed.

Let me look up at the branches of the towering oak and know that it grew slowly and well. Inspire me to send my own roots down deep into the soil of life's endearing values...that I may grow toward the stars of my greater destiny.

Slow me down, Lord.

RE: Has this ever happened to you?

The last time it happened to me was in my twenties, so I have no recent experience. My last hard fall happened over nine years ago, so I have escaped from limbo long ago.

RE: Let's Sit In The Lounge

Remote is two things.

1. Removed to a distance; not near; far away; distant; -- said in respect to time or to place; as, remote ages; remote lands.

2. Device utilized for reaching out at a distance, to touch another.

Let me be the remote.

RE: What is your take on angels?

I certainly agree with your smile.....tongue

RE: Let's Sit In The Lounge

You have to remember that as Canucks, there is still, if even Internet dating, a remoteness factor.....
