When I first attempted this whole internet thing, I was indeed sensitive and so it bothered me. At this point, I care not, since it indicates immediately a non interest, which is better than any lead on or garden path encounter.
Women are generally meticulous, a beautiful quality. They look at simple things, like expression. For example....."there emails" as opposed to "their emails" or better yet "one's emails". Next, it helps to have a photo. After all, you could be any nutter......
Years ago, I wrote a thread called "the winner's circle".
It was with the idea of promoting oneself through the forums. I have read many threads since time that do not exactly have that goal in mind and since I cannot ressurect my original, I have created a second thread that allows one to show their wares. You do not physically have to own a trophy per se, nor have had honourable mention in your career, but somewhere, somehow, someway you have something in your heart that not only makes you unique, but outstanding......
