Just an observation but, ya might want to remember "Maltese" instead, as in "The Maltese Falcon",

Well, I am lucky I have lived or travelled to the majority of Western Europe.
So, it could be time to visit Eastern Europe.
But if I had to pick one country in each continent to visit, it would have to be
Europe - Romania (Trannsylvania and the wolves)
Asia - Nepal - (The Yeti)
The Middle East - Lebanon. (I know the Middle East is not a continent, but I still want to visit it!)
South America - Peru (The Inca Trail)
North America - ALL of it on a large motorbike!!! (16 months and counting)
Australasia - Easter Island (The Big heads)
Africa - South Africa (The Great White Shark diving)
and finally of them all, the number one destination for me to visit is .... Antartcia! The South pole!
I applied for a job there with the British Antartic Survey, but missed the application deadline.

How about Artic (North Pole)? I am living not too far away from there and can maybe give you a tip where to apply for a job there
The problem with that is that the North Pole is a floating ice cap, as opposed to the South Pole which is a land mass.
I do not fancy getting caught on a lump of floating ice with a hairy-arsed polar bear whose last meal was three days ago!!!

So i have to say that i'm very lucky to work on cruise ships. I had visited lots of nice countries, but i never been in Alaska. So my next holiday will be to visit Alaska.
And ones i get there i'll end up like my nick name, I'll be freezing......

You need just too take care about that you don't run out of the two main supply items for the north:

Mine: Malta (actually this forum made me interested in it because the malteser (or how ever you call yourself) are very busy in the forum compared to the size of their country ... seems to be a bunch of pretty agile folks ... party on! (do you have German beer on your island?)
