Scared the hell out of me the first time but then I was the one tending to the delivery and it wasn't my child. I was an emt/aircrewman in the USCG at the time and did it on a helicopter after taking the mother and father off a sailboat. They figured that the delivery was about two weeks away, they were safe......NOT She went into labor, we were called and this was my first case as an emt. As we were landing, I laid a healthy baby girl in her mothers arms.
All in all, nothing compares to seeing your own child being born into this world. I was there when both of my boys were born.........same hospital, same birthing room
