Sometimes we can't see beyond our own troubles to understand how good we've got it.
-Rooted- To grow we must experience rain; cold, wet moments that seem like they will never end. They end. Clouds almost never part all a once. You see a bright spot, a shaft of light, then bit by bit the blue sky is revealed and the thing you've hoped for, yearned for and idealized becomes reality.
...In fact, you may never see rain again...

They may not end forever but the effect is to create a paranoia that makes us remember to appreciate even the uncomfortable learning/growing experiences.
At least that was the intention, I guess it's hard give a painting definition with a single broad stroke, eh? I'll keep refining.
Good point, art is in the eye of the beholder...but I must point out that the poetry threads are frequented by the more intellectual (usually) ladies while the "rosie the roller" thread is frequented by people the likes of....me.
good point....but it's not always possible to plant yourself there, and even so, when you ARE there, the outcome is almost NEVER as predictory as one might wish...
