lifeisadream: Some years ago I do remember our discussion about global warming (2010 or so) and if I am not mistaken Comrad you position then was that the earthwas not having any warming yet there were some cycles (the earth, the sun cycles...) and that there was not any warming then yet your perception/knowledge could have changed.
Global climate change has, is, and always will occur. I am but a few hours away from glaciers, but long ago (well before the Fundamentalists 600o year theory), I would have been buried beneath 3000 feet of ice. Why is it that Homo Sapiens believe this planet cannot survive without the presence of said species? Even our predecessor species....all told maybe 2 million years? LOL! Be it an asteroid impact, gamma ray burst, or our own stupidity, we will NIOT be the first or last species to go extinct upon this planet! ROFLMAO! Now quit your whining and move aside for the next species!

Mixed feelings on global warming in the north of England as we'll get to climb into the mountains and watch the south of England drown. "More pineapple, Tommy"

Good news for parents who want to keep an eye on the kids. Just them running around in ever smaller and smaller circles on a vanishing piece of land. Very manageable.

Conrad73: Baloney! Better tell that to Antarctica, seems it didn't get the Message, and while you're at it,inform the coming Maunder Minimum as well!
Besides the Sun cycles, the Earth cycles and because of the earth (rotation-translation) going around there is "the fact" that the imaginary lines like "the tropics" are not static. Each year this lines move 14 meters (more o less) with the climatic implications that it represents, so there it goes the climate.
