What is this obsession with trying to understand everybody all the time? This keeps recurring and perhaps we should just enjoy the differences. You will never be able to see into someone's head so its not about gender. I think its our perception that people are more complex than they actually are. If we understood people all the time, would they then be predictable? How boring...........!

For a start if you totally understood someone life would be too predictable - I suppose that's great for people who want the pipe and slippers job and tick their lives over together. But being spontaneous is definately not something you can understand or predict - so the answer is simple - do you want boring or do you want that air of wonder? I know what I'd prefer!
