If you were reincarnated?

If you were reincarnated as an animal which one would you come back as if you had a choice and why?

Me, I would be an eagle - to have the freedom to travel great distances and soar high above the clouds.

Here I am again!

I think we should set up a personality test as well - then rate peoples answers! At least we'd have some idea of who they really and not just what they write. Because I know quite a number of people who have been on here have received messages from people which are totally different from how their profile reads.

Here I am again!

I know there's no chance of me going unless I win lotto! But I will be with you all in spirit - double vodka, Jack Daniels etc.rolling on the floor laughing

Here I am again!

Well I'll give you a 10 simply because you replied to my post. I was beginning to think I was the only person on-line as I'd frightened everyone away when I came back - maybe a photo of my bedroom would get better ratings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!grin

Here I am again!

Thanks my lovely. I'll do yours in a minute. But I do think this rating thing could really be detrimental - quite a number of people I've met on here have quite low self-esteem after a few failed relationships, so if we're rating the persons picture it could be deverstating! Anyway what are we rating, whether someone has a better camera that takes clearer pictures, or photographic expertise or poseability or how good looking a person is? I'm just to have to rate everyone a 10 so I don't go upsetting anyone! confused

Here I am again!

I'm fine thanks (apart from a nasty cough - I was looking for Vic to rub on my chest but haven't found him yet! My Nan said Vic on my chest would make me feel a lot better!) and what about you? Are you all loved up or still sitting on the shelf like me? And I want to know who came up with this "Rate the photo" lark whilst I was away - if I was a sensitive type I might have jumped off my shed roof for the ratings I've got!moping

Here I am again!

wave Merci.

So how's things with you? Have you found the love of your life yet?

Here I am again!

Thanks Lily, I love the summer holidays - lay-ins every day but this years been a disaster - my Dad died right at the beginning (totally unexpected) then just before the funeral I caught some flu thing which is still hanging about, of course I shared it with my kids so all we've done is sleep, eat and stay local as nobody feels 100%. Our doctor's inundated with people with the same virus - I phoned to get an appointment for one of my kids and the earlier is 4 September - unless it's urgent which it isn't - and that was last Monday (I hate to think what it would be now!). Moan over, I promise! So what have you been doing? Anyone met anyone and been whisked off into the sunset?

Here I am again!

Just popped in to check on everyone. Hope all my old friends are doing fine and are finally settled and happy. It's still same old same old with me! Busy with my writing, continuously clearing up the kids mess and juggling finances and obviously still very single!

RE: Help lol

Personally, I think it's a great opportunity and you should go. My daughter's in Australia. She came home in Feb after a year out there, was so desperately unhappy she's gone back. Things weren't good for me at the time she went or whilst she was there but my biggest thought was "as long as she was happy!" it didn't matter where in the world she was because she could always get a plane back if needs be.

Egypt isn't that far away nowadays, there's regular flights which don't cost a real fortune any more. It can take you a longer time trying to drive round London than it does to get a plane back from Egypt!! lol!

And don't stay for your mum, no matter how much you love her and she loves you, this is one of those times when you need to search your heart for the answer. You could always go for a long holiday and if you liked it and mum's fine then you could extend your stay as long as you want. I would have felt a burden to my daughter if she'd not gone to Oz when she had the opportunity just because she was worried about me or stayed because of me.

It's simple, if it wasn't for your mum, would you like to go?

confused

RE: Alex is in theatre tommorrow...i have everything crossed!

Wishing Alex a speedy recovery. xxx

RE: has anybody ever had an out of body experience ? is it true ?...and whats the astral plane ?

Out of body experiences can occur both voluntarily and involuntarily. During times of excess stress on the physical body, it is believed, the soul can go 'walk about' and prematurely leave the body. Some drugs can also induce this state. Deep meditation and sometimes during very deep sleep can also cause the soul to leave the body in 'spiritual form' and seek comfort or knowledge in the Astral Plane (which is believed to be the place souls cross to after their mortal life has ended) or simply linger or move freely seperately from the mortal body on the mortal plane - My son did this years ago at Christmas when he was about 7 and if it wasn't for the incident we would have had a very bad house fire. I was asleep and woke up to him standing by my door telling me to go downstairs and turn the plug off to a battery charger because it was going to set alight. As I got out of bed he walked out of my room and his shoulder sort of went through the door like a ghost. I turned round and he was gone so I went into his room to ask him what he meant but he was fast asleep and snuggled up in his loft bed. He was definately too warm to have got out of bed. I went downstairs and found the battery charger which had been left on as it was supposed to charge for 12 hours was now smoking. I unplugged it and threw it outside then went back to bed. The next day I asked my son about it but he didn't know what I was talking about although he had a very stiff shoulder without any bruising. A friend (who is a medium) told me about the incident months later, long after I'd forgotten about it, and explained about out-of-body experiences.

RE: HAS ANYONE MET THERE SOUL MATE ON HERE,

I'm only back here because of the good friends I made. I missed them when my life was a bit hectic and upside down!crying then today when I signed back on I suddenly realised just how much I used to socialise on here. And if my soul mate came knocking on my door (or message box) then that would just be the icing on the cake!cheering cheering cheering cheering

Like a recurring nightmare I'm back again!!!!

But I've learnt from experience - not all candy's sweet! especially the sort my kids like! Sour fizzy coke bottles! Yuk!

Like a recurring nightmare I'm back again!!!!

Thanks for the welcome and have a lovely evening.

Thanks hun, and have a lovely evening!!!

Like a recurring nightmare I'm back again!!!!

so what's up with the washing machine - I've stripped my down recently again and it was just a loose wire on the pump! You'll have to do the washing the old fashion way, big bath of water and plenty of footwork - clothes come out a bit smelly but kids don't notice!!!laugh

Like a recurring nightmare I'm back again!!!!

fine, I think, in between the piles of washing and kids moaning. Still not made my fortune but decided to marry into money - working for it is just tooooooooo hard!!!!!!yawn

Like a recurring nightmare I'm back again!!!!

Hi everyone, hope all the regulars are doing fine. Well, after taking so time out to work on my new project (now finished) and get myself sorted out I'm back again. Hope to catch up with my old friends and make some new ones soon. cheering

RE: "TANTRA"

I quite like the sound of it myself - it's better than the 3w's anyway!

DO MEN NOT TRAVEL?

Good on you - and was it worth it????????

DO MEN NOT TRAVEL?

but if I wait for mine that's another 18 years!! Think I'd have to raid my penny pot instead!!!laugh

DO MEN NOT TRAVEL?

I was talking to a friend and we wondered whether men (or women come to think of it) expect to find a partner on their doorstep. OK that would be brilliant but the chances are that your soul mate is out there in the world as likely as being in the same supermarket as you shop. So I wondered what the general feeling was - I know it would be difficult in my situation due to family commitments and finances obviously have to be taken into consideration but if I felt I'd found someone I would want to spend the rest of my life with then I would do my fair share of the travelling and expect him to do the same. Anyway over to you!

RE: What's new?

Thanks that'll be great - You can watch it first and tell me how scarey it is - I'm not a coward I just don't like hiding under the table too much - you never know what the kids have left under there!!!rolling on the floor laughing

RE: What's new?

I'm fine thanks - How wonderful being able to go to the mountains - I bet it was beautiful, did you watch the sunrise over the mountains?

White Noise is about people dying and when they're resuscitated they bring horrible spirits back with them - saw the first one which was about spirit communication via tv and radio waves - I enjoyed it so much my son bought me the dvd for xmas - the second one is supposed to be better but although I like creepy things I get a bit edgy being the only adult in the house at night - I tend to watch them on dvd when I feel brave enough or my teenagers are about - I know, you can call me a wimp if you want!! Therefore before I frighten myself too much I thought I'd ask if anyone has seen it as it's supposed to play on your mind a bit afterwards.

So if anyone reading this has seen it could they let me know, please.

RE: What's new?

Hi, created anything nice lately? Have you seen White Noise 2?

RE: does tinternet dating actually work?

Thank you! I'm just tired and fed up and to add insult to injury I had to go food shopping!crying Then some bloke who was speeding (on an icy road!!!!) almost smashed my car up the backside "because he didn't see me" whilst he was on his mobile phone doing about 60 in a 30 limit - causing me to skid and miss traffic bollards by inches! I know I said I wanted a man close to me but not like that!!!!confused

RE: does tinternet dating actually work?

There's a lot of people feeling the same way. Trouble is there seems to be a shortage of decent single men in their 40's in London and women in other parts. Maybe I'm wrong but everyone I've chatted to lives miles and miles away and when you're skint or a single parent it seems pointless unless you've got the back-up to be able to travel that far. I've got my dispondent head on today!!!! sigh uh oh
