I think I'm becoming a hermit!!

Hi love, do you fancy a ticket to barbados? I think the sunshine would do you good and we've put an appeal out for someone to buy Missy and Me a tickets (including our man servants - Englandz and Migene) because we're feeling really winter bluey!

I think I'm becoming a hermit!!

Spot on Migene and what do you think you'll be doing all week???

WHO'S HERE FOR WHAT????

All mellow now!!! But would you prefer to know the person I really am or someone I'm just pretending to be just to snare you - to me the first option is the most truthful!

I think I'm becoming a hermit!!

I don't think we'll need to be kept warm - but you could always become the strong silent one who stands in the corner waiting to tend to our every need.

I think I'm becoming a hermit!!

Now that's a difficult one! I will try not to give into temptation but let me know where you set up your tent just in case!

I think I'm becoming a hermit!!

What you complaining about - I don't intend to take much luggage - part of a good holiday is obviously the holiday shopping!

I think I'm becoming a hermit!!

OK but you'd better pack your tent - I ain't sharing my room with nobody!!! Unless, of course the offer is too tempting to pass up!!

I think I'm becoming a hermit!!

Englandz course you can, we'll need someone to carry out luggage! So now we need three tickets please - and if the person who buys them for us is really nice to us we'll even let them join us!!!

WHO'S HERE FOR WHAT????

I would never change for a man - I am who I am and express myself as I see myself - therefore I will not write a profile to attract a man's attention by pretending to fill his wants or needs - that's not who I am.

Plus according to my dictionary novelist is spelt novelist and novellas which are short (approx 30,000-60,000 words), fast paced books is spelt novellas - anyway I don't need to spell that's what editors get paid for - wouldn't want to do one out of a job!!!

I think I'm becoming a hermit!!

I thought that because I walk to school with just my hoodie on some days but there isn't much light - I have to put my lights on indoors all day - I've even put voiles up at the window with blinds behind that go right out of the way to make the room a bit lighter but it's still so dull. I still think two weeks in the bahamas will do us both good!

I think I'm becoming a hermit!!

I've never felt like it before but I don't think we've had a winter like this as far as I can remember - we've always had some winter sun by now but it's been grey and overcast for months here and the wind and damp gets me down a bit. Well there's only one thing for it - who wants to treat mismessier and I to a fortnight in the bahamas????????

I think I'm becoming a hermit!!

yeah, that's how I feel. The kids keep having to wake me up in the morning for school - it's always been round the other way. Thinking about it we haven't had any of that usual winter sun where we are - you know when the sky is blue and bright sun but you're freezing your wotsits off. Maybe that's it! I might have to look at getting a light box or something.

I think I'm becoming a hermit!!

I did think that! But then I thought about when I can go back to work and how unfair it will be on a dog. My dog died last year and although I miss her I used to feel so guilty if I was out all day and she was stuck indoors by herself. So I don't think it would be fair on another dog, especially with the size of our garden - it's a tiny mainly concrete yard and although dogs need long walks I feel they also need a nice sized backgarden - the same as little children do! Any more suggestions cos I am listening!

I think I'm becoming a hermit!!

Don't know whether it's winter blues but I'm starting to get to a stage where I can't be bothered to go out and it's a really great effort to get out of the door. I go food shopping once a week, work on my writing at home and do jobs about the house but really have lost the incentive to go out anywhere apart from taking the kids to schools and clubs. The kids are all more of less independent so they go places and 'don't do the family thing' as the older ones put it - well, they're teenagers and they all go through that stage. I haven't got money to spend so there's little reason to go round the shops and anyway ebay is often the cheapest place if I need anything for the kids or house. The people around here are not one to ask you in for coffee or accept your many invitations for coffee. Thought about college courses during the day but our local college doesn't often have funded places and there's no way I can afford to pay vast amounts. My sister-in-law suggested the library, but I can't bear the thought of sitting in the library all day being quiet I can do that at home. Can't go back to work yet because I'm still recovering after a very long illness and my doctor has strongly recommended that I wait to at least the Summer. The problem is I'm starting to think I'm becoming a hermit as I prefer to stay at home lately - not my usual character as I was never in!!! I wouldn't say I was depressed just feel more comfortable inside the four walls - so what do you think? Winter blues? And will it pass as soon as spring is here?? Any suggestions if it is winter blues how to combat it apart from popping pills from the doctor - I've started taking St Johns Wort to see if that'll help but am open to any good suggestions - I want my life back!!!!!!

SO WHO IS YOUR PERFECT WOMAN/MAN?

No I'm too busy trying to climb into the tele to find out information about him and now I have I wish I hadn't - it's spoilt all my dreams!

RE: The official 'I Hate Winter Thread'

No missed that - see I never find out anything until it's all over! I just think on winter days school should start when I can finally get out of bed. Me and My Duvet are in love and we don't like to be parted from each other on winter mornings.
