Utilize the gift when an occassion arises. Give it to someone who you would think would like to have it.

I would either give it to a friend if they wanted it, or, when all else fails, turn it into a planter.

i like one reply I have heard, if the gift is from a relative, like a shower curtain, hang it up for one month and then dispose of it to charity...It doesn t have to be with you forever.

And, I did know someone who recycled gifts, and WE AL KNEW ABOUT IT, I think it is poor taste to recycle.

I would like to know someone made the effort to choose something personally for me.

And, sometimes, a person who gave you the poor quality gift has no taste in choosing gifts, it is up to you to decide if you wish to get more of the same from them or speak up in a tactful way by taking them shopping with you to show them your likes in a casual way.

If that fails, then give up and do what is suggested in paragraph one above.professor rolling on the floor laughing laugh
