No offense to anyone. But when I do go to the groucery store, I feel like a minority for speaking english! It drives me crazy, I swear I feel like they are talking about be and I cant understand!

I remember about 20 years ago my area, had a lot of vietmese settle. Every store hired them because the government was supplementing their income, so it was cheaper to hire them. Everyone felt that way because very few spoke english, now it is not such a big deal. We still have some that don't speak english. Today it is Mexican people, in a few years it will not be such a big deal. America is a melting pot of mixed cultures and that is what makes it great.

This is a funny joke and I'm not taking it seriously....EXCEPT...this is a sore subject for me. There are pros and cons to this on the flip side...but America is a melting pot as stated.
After living in Iran and having to learn another language, I am grateful that I did. It allowed me the ability to accept others, and now learning other languages is easier for me and I totally enjoy it! Not to mention I only dated Hispanics (ok, I'm cured now) and since they didn't speak English...one of us had to learn a language to communicate!
