A friend just emailed me these two...so I thought I would share....have fun and good luck.

1. If today is Saturday, what is the day after the day before the day
before tomorrow?

2 How quickly can you find out what is unusual about this
paragraph? It looks so ordinary that you would think that
nothing was wrong with it at all and, in fact, nothing is. But
it is unusual. Why? If you study it and think about it you may
find out, but I am not going to assist you in any way. You must
do it without coaching. No doubt, if you work at it for long, it
will dawn on you. Who knows? Go to work and try your skill. Par
is about half an hour.

Three friends check into a motel for the night and the clerk tells them the bill is $30, payable in advance. So, they each pay the clerk $10 and go to their room. A few minutes later, the clerk realizes he has made an error and overcharged the trio by $5. He asks the bellhop to return $5 to the 3 friends who had just checked in. The bellhop sees this as an opportunity to make $2 as he reasons that the three friends would have a tough time dividing $5 evenly among them; so he decides to tell them that the clerk made a mistake of only $3, giving a dollar back to each of the friends. He pockets the leftover $2 and goes home for the day! Now, each of the three friends gets a dollar back, thus they each paid $9 for the room which is a total of $27 for the night. We know the bellhop pocketed $2 and adding that to the $27, you get $29, not $30 which was originally spent. Where did the other dollar go????

The bill was 30

Each gave the clerk 10

He gave them back 5

30-5=25

The bellhop pocketed 2

25+2=27

Each friend got back 1
3 friends = 3

27+3=30

Although the way it's worded in the teaser makes my brain hurt.

You can add to that riddle "Except on rainy days when he takes the elevator all the way to his floor"

Why?
