I have a webcam too. Have had several in the past few years. It's the best way I know how to actually let someone know you're who you say you are. Pictures can be altered and fake. You can't fake something live or at least I haven't seen a way yet.....lol

Guess I hate 'em. Purchased one for someone special, we tried it once or twice, but we never use it anymore...felt kind of dorky about it. So, guess I'm a "no" with the web cams..

I like it, because you can put a face, and a smile with who you are talking to. But no one to cam with here.... Atleast from what I know

My thought? The best way to share smiles and laughs! I use skype too, then no need to type, just talk and it is sometimes better than a phone call and it is FREE!!!
Even if I can call free from my internet phone connection, I have brothers out of France, one in Madagascar and another in Crete, it is so nice to be able to see their child on cam'!

I have a digital camcorder/camera that can be used as a web cam--but I've never used it for that. Hhhhhmmmm...I've not found a reason to need to need it. I'd rather meet face to face.
