Honestly... the highway was quiet and hardly any traffic. Only gas stations open and some snack bars in the country. We were told what minimal vitamins we'll have to take once working again... strange but makes sense. Don't know when we'll be able to work again... for now, it still has to be done from home. Not bad... Had some groceries delivered and apparently we are going to have a curfew implemented since monday (Just on certain states)... Your friend Maduro, calls it "A radicalization of the quarantine"... Not sure, though... The delivery guy told me: "You have such happy dogs!"... And made me reflect on how badly abused one of them was, judging from her bald spots... I am happy to know that's her past and now all three of my girls are so happy that it's evident... That makes my heart smile... 
Oh, and my neighbor was celebrating and was a little drunk... I said "Hi" to him and he asked me if he could kiss my hand... And I said "Even three times, if you want"... Obvioulsy, I was joking!... But he did!... I was laughing so hard...

Omg, and they are so smart... Some experts say parrots can be compared to a six year old kid... I talk to them and if I point anywhere, they follow my hand, paying so much attention... I bought a mirror for each one of them, besides all of their toys and it's so funny to watch them looking at themselves... Soooo cute!... Omg... They smell like plushies... My Mom always asked me: "How can you hug that parrot?... What is there to hug?... You are going to kill it"... But hey, he is 17 years old and I hug him and kiss him and he has survived... I love Cockatoos... But they are extremely jealous of their humans and become extremely frustrated when they don't get enough attention... I have seen some terrible pictures of Cockatoos that pluck their feathers because they feel abandoned or stressed... It's heart wrenching... And they are bigger than my parrots... But they are sooooooo cute... I have one of those little shopping carts... Question: How come you ended up eating pasticho and mandocas?... Did you come to Venezuela or your friend went to your country?... And what else did you learn about Venezuela?...------ This thread is Archived ------

I ate the food because after my friends came here when I met them they made both items for me. It's closed now but a Venezuelan type restaurant about 100 miles away also had this food. One of my male Venezuelan friends came here long ago. Soon after his male Venezuelan came here also. They were not Gay. I made friends with both of them. Way before COVID19 one of them returned to Venezuela and supposedly he died. The second went back also and now he can't be found. Maybe for whatever reason left your country for another location. Complicated and little facts available since I was very busy.
