There were some exceptions. Some people treated us badly, from the start. We saw lots of discrimination, people that didn't think a couple, such as us, should be together. But that is just pure discrimination. I've seen a lot of that in my life.
People have a choice. If they don't mind the age-difference between themselves, then nobody else has any right to say anything, as long as they are both over the age of consent, and both are mentally competent.

Your personal experience is more of an exception and doesn't outweighs the reality.
As I said in my first post such relationships can be successful...
But they are not a majority.
And yes, it's a personal choice and you can not be angry at people for looking at it in a different way.
