I'll never know about that part of my heritage.

I find your remarks wholly offensive. My wife of blessed memory was 18-years older than me. We were together for the rest of her life, for 26-years, after we were married. There were some exceptions. Some people treated us badly, from the start. We saw lots of discrimination, people that didn't think a couple, such as us, should be together. But that is just pure discrimination. I've seen a lot of that in my life.
People have a choice. If they don't mind the age-difference between themselves, then nobody else has any right to say anything, as long as they are both over the age of consent, and both are mentally competent.

Basically it's about a family lumber business. The lumber town decides to go on strike for better wages from the mill. But the Stampers know they need the money to survive so they act for their own benefit.
Every maniac claims how good Atlas Shrugged is, SAGN s about the same thing set in a real environment.
There is also a movie,but Kesey is such a dense and complex writer it just doesn't capture the level the novel does.
