I believe everyone has a soul mate. either a friend soul mate or your lover soul mate, there is someone out there for everyone!

Sorry I don't believe in the ONE and ONLY soul mate in life. We are ever changing, ever growing, and so, to have a 'perfect fit'..... an over-used cliqued term.... soulmate....would mean no soul growth.
I would rather experience many different relationships through life, with both friends, family and lovers, and continue growing, learning, and experiencing through life...and perhaps one day, meet the man who is "right for now"

The only soulmate I've ever had and still do is my perfect child and family, who have always loved me uncondionally and been there for me no matter what and always will. But I was talking about a lover and believe me when I tell you from my and other people's experiences not everybody gets lucky to find real love and happiness, some people go for the rest of their life with no marriage, happiness or love, that's my believe anyway.
Hi jess642, thanks again for welcoming me, you are so right there is no such thing as forever for anything and very few people stay together for ever. Its sad but that's how it goes.
I have yet to find my soulmate but I do believe in them. Maybe I just haven't looked hard enough
Im there with you on this one Jess.To me a soul mate is someone we have spent past life with.There is more than one person who we can love deeply throughout our lives.Each person is unique, and each relationship is unique. The hard part is retaining the good memories and letting go of the bad. Having said that I would like to find "the one" but it takes work from both people and no one seems to be willing to put the time in anymore.
