I would love to be a youth care worker. I have always wanted to work with the youth.
Another job I would love would be working in Africa and helping the poor and sick as well.

well ive done the youth care, and its not worth it. sorry, but my opinion. you are accused every day of something and you have to have it all cleared. they are very spoiled in the group homes and lock ups. very spoiled, a normal kid living at home does not get all that a group home or locked up kid gets. you're called every name under the sun continually. they are always looking for fights, and your usually it. just not worth it. i spent 14 years doing that.

Stormchaser would be very cool, wonder how much they get paid. I've seen the documentaries on A&E and such, seems they do tours in the passenger vans with them. How much a head?

Well I know where the streets are paved with gold..Ottawa..If I could do it over again I would have been a lawyer first then straight into politics and stole everything I could have got my hands on..Supplied all my friends with cushy jobs that is as long as they slipped a little cashiers check in my pocket..Made sure I had arms length companies that just happened to get those juicy G contracts.

well ive noticed a few of you here could still do what is your ideal job. FB you could still work with horses, do you have a race track where you are. 2 of my g/fs feed and groom and walk the racing horses, they love their job. Or apply at a ranch to get experience.

Well i have worked with youth and adults as a support worker. it really depends on the clientale, ages, settings and province. There are several factors that are different. My experiences in group homes has been the complete oppostie as yours. The clients i have worked with have very little compared to most kids or youths. Most have severve disabilities and have been abanded by there families.
Guess it all depends on the group home and the societies objectives and mission statements.

I would have been someone who works with the animals. especially dolphins, gorillas etc. i love animals so much, its the only thing that really makes me happy.
