Mary, friends are good for men and women. I can speak only for myself in saying that I am the jealous type and understand where the guy you were talking about might feel. But until I came in here I really did not understand that women need friends or that I need friends, too. I came in here trying to rush things and I had to learn not to rush things. Some of the stuff I already knew but some was very new to me. I know one thing for sure; it is easier to say some of the stuff but harder to do. I wish you the best in finding that right one for you. I would like to say that to anyone who reads these lines the same thing, too. I think it would be better to meet someone in here because there might be a chance that we could both get to learn more about each other in here.
