Not always true, as some of the boys from your own town are quite respectful too. Their parents taught them to respect others, or they eventually grew up and learn the right thing to do.

Just because the men you have dated have been arrogant boors, do not lump all us British men with them.
We all have our faults.
I could say why are all english women stuck up their own backsides??

Foreign = non-indigenous.
So, how respectful is the Chinese habit of spitting on the sidewalk?
How respectful is the habit of making your wife walk 6 paces behind?
Are you getting the point here? Both of these things occur in "our" major cities! By foreigners!
I have plenty of respect for women & men. It is a reciprocation of effort. What I recieve I give out.
