Well! All I can think of is they like manners on they sandmichs and Grace brought some over when she came fer supper. You got too think about this stuff a bit.

it is true, but just cause it is true, of course does not mean that no american guys are gentlemen. its just the way the american culture has changed, morals are going down the drain, and many other countries havent caught up to us on that, i mean in japan they still have respect for elders! though i hear thats fading away too

OK, I thought about it and I have decided I like peanut butter on my manner samitch.
And Shorty ahs always treated me with respect and manners and went out of her way to help me with a problem I had so everybody button up and get off her case. OR ELSE

It all boils down to
one thing . The one thing , in this world , that most men ( foreign or not)have on their mind ... And what they are willing to do or go through ,to get it ... american men , for the most part , have little patience , they're very open and straight forward, in their quest . Foreign men seem to like "the quest" more . They like the wining and dining , and wooing a woman .. It's half of the "hunt" for them .....While americans want to "get to work" as soon as possible .... Both have only one ending in their minds . They just go about getting it differently .
Personally , I think "women" like it "all" ... the manners , door opening , pulling out the chair, etc... it makes them feel appreciated .... but they also like the straight forward , get to work approach , too...At times. .... It's up to us poor mortal men ; to figure when the arropriate time is , to use "which" approach ... LOL ....
