Neck Ache when at PC????? (12)
i get that to, heat patches do help, the ones for back and neck pain are good by neurofen from boots
seriously i have no clue since being on this website i have had it constant seriously you get addicted to c/s
Alright me ode, I get it often as I'm tall, and have to lean over. Just go for a quick walk round the house, innit. q=o)
I suffer with a lower back problem that causes problems all over the back & shoulders & neck, in fact i've got neck probs at the moment. try a packet of frozen peas or sweet corn wrapped in a tea towel, should numb the pain a bit. Or stand under a power shower if you have one aimed at the area it hurts, obviously not cold though, whatever suits you.
I get it too,also eye strain....too much pc time me finks!

oh right coccix i have bad back pain all the time according to my chiropractor my spine moved outta place when i was younger 
Well, I can offer some advice on how to prevent it from happening again based on my experience.
I use a gaslift/swivel chair (decent priced ones in Argos) and set the backrest ramrod straight at a 90 degree angle. Practise sitting back with your back straight and not hunched or leaning towards your Pc; difficult but habit-forming after a while. And instead of leaning forward when you want to get closer to your Pc roll the chair forward on it's wheels. I learnt this the hard way back when I worked in an office desk job, which was the last time I had back/neck ache from poor sitting posture. If you spend a lot of time at your Pc you really have to buy one...it pays for itself.

what you need is a proper computer chair with an head rest i have jusy bought one and it has cured my aching neck and back pain
Depends on ur job too,if you have a strenuous type of job ie:computer job or lifting and humping stuff about,or you just cycle to work that'll make it worse.

Just trying to pass some time...
I get serious chronic neck ache...not that its in my neck but its in my upper back/neck and nothing i do seems to clear it....
Any ideas??????
