There are some fake pics on peoples profiles,and some fake people on here too-also.Its worth a try-nothing ventured,nothing gained

stu.. i spend many hours ploughing thru emails and pics etc.. chatting to people i think are genuine.. ive even met a few.. but not worked out cos distance was a problem 4 them..I no im real and genuine and the pics on my profile are me thats 4 sure! U just hope everyone can be as honest as yourself.. u got nothing 2 lose anyway.. but good luck with it 
There it seem are very few genuine ppl on these sites, Ihave joined four and, eveyone seems to be either just there cos they were bored for an evenin or want to direct you to their site, or last logged on two years ago, i think that the sites owners put pics and profiles on and send u emails from ficticious ppl to encourage you to join, looks like i am going to go back to the traditional way of findin a partner, go out and do somethin take up a new hobby,

No, not all are weirdos, my friend! There are some very genuine people on here, I have met some of them.......
