I have heard different people want different things right off the bat. What do you think? Should two people start off as friends or jump into the relationship head on?
Personally, I enjoy being friends first, there is no pressure and you can be yourself with a friend. But this may go along with wanting a friendship-based relationship as well. I need to feel my man is one of my good friends, that we can talk and enjoy each other's company.
I think it can depend onn the situation, but yes there must be freindship there to maintain a relationship. you won't be bestest buddies all the time, though. You will get on each others nerves, lol. But, that goes with any relationship that lasts... To be able to count onthat person when the chips are down, as well as everyday, and happy times, requires a freind. I feel.
