I think the idea of a kilt is excellent too.

Especially with all the regaled finery associated with it. Especially if its your own clan's tartan!

I bought one a few years back as I needed to wear one regularly...lucked out as I found one at a Goodwill Store and didn't even need altering...15 bucks! cost me more for the damn shirt and tie!

I want to clarify something, I am an all or nothing kind of guy, so either I will be absolutely casual or I will dress to the nines. The authentic Scottish tartan is an extremely expensive thing and I am not in a position to justify buying one because I don't use it often. My favorite suit is a high thread count, jet black suit with matching gloves and a black turtleneck (and black hairband). The problem is keeping all the black things from getting fuzzy or dusty...I've got better things to do... After a while, I just decided to go casual.
