there are a few dvds that shrink won't decrypt, that's where the other comes into play.

Last I remember they stopped development of DVDShrink, so I am not sure how it'll pan out with some of the newer things appearing mainstream. I'll give it a few tests and report back findings though! beer

ahh ... well, I heard "he" had never found one.

But "he" hasnt done it for a while, and will be doing it again, when he moves soon ...

every now and then...not very often...dvd decrypter is needed. decrypt and save to the hard drive, then use dvd shrink to compress, resave and burn.

the compression is still awesome, but there are a few that it can't decrypt. not many, but a few.

or so i've heard.

maybe the ones that DVD Shrink cant copy are only in the US ... ?

shrink removes zoning quite well.

every now and then, it'll say that the disc is copy protected and it can't handle it.

going back with decrypter removes the encryption (it's better at it, i guess) and THEN you shrink.

if i were, you know, to do something like that.
