ya'll crack me up...i knew that no one would admit it, heh...

if i WERE to do such a thing, i'd use a combination of two free programs that work in sync, to decrypt the dvd and then to compress it to fit on one recordable dvd.

I always do 'archival backup' copies of things I don't want destroyed. The way I figure it, if I'm the last one to ever have a copy of it and it got destroyed, I'd be personally responsible for destroying what could be considered a major piece of work. Nero with error bits on in config ftw.

I have "heard" that "DVD Shrink" works very well. (Its free as well)

I "know" of a guy who had over 800 DVDs copied.

It also does away with the zoning on the DVDs .. so I heard

i like my little programs better than nero, i have yet to come across a dvd that i can not copy...and they remove all copy protections.

even compressed, the quality is awesome, and i can't notice a difference.
