Democracy is working, It can work in all of Iraq.

Have you seen the Other Iraq?

It's spectacular.

It's peaceful.

Welcome to Iraqi Kurdistan.
Where democracy has been practiced for over a decade. It's not a dream. It's the other Iraq.

Heyas Mitchell. Aries told me to tel you Hi!
Actually was in Baghdad, and may be going back as a civilian contactor. Depends on whether JB&R get right with the money.
Was actually a combat medic in Desert Storm, then went back as a TI for a evac hospital.

Where is that girl? Hi back at you Bree.

Looks like some things are finally getting done over there. I`ve been following it very closely since we began this fight. Take care if you go, some parts are still very dangerous. Especially in and around Baghdad.

Well, Im bound to piss some people off bro. Ive spent too much time over there and seen too many things to have any feelings towards the people of Iraq that arent negative. I know its not the common peoples fault, and they suffer the most.
But an American soldier is just over there trying to do his job and follow orders. When you see your buds getting shot and blown to pieces you get a lot of hate built up inside.
I would just turn that whole country in to one big sheet of glass!
There, I said it.
I guess I should start apologizing now......sigh

Thanks for sharing, and I can understand why you would feel this way. I had the same thoughts about the place at one time. I`m sure not everyone of the Iraqis are evil. They are common people just like us. They want to live in peace and be able to provide for their families.

Governments just seem to get in the way sometimes.

That is a good answer, but the problem when you are over there is not knowing who your enemies actually are.
It has gotten to the point where we were in the "kill em all and let God sort em out" mode of thinking.
Sad, but you cant blame the boys over there just hoping to make it back home in one piece.
peace and love
