Cheap Labor in America

Thank you for the best post of the day!!!

Lawyer you could actually like

A New Orleans lawyer sought an FHA loan for a client who lost his house
in Hurricane Katrina and wanted to rebuild. He was told the loan would
be granted if he could prove satisfactory title to the parcel of
property being offered as collateral. The title to the property dated
back to 1803, which took the Lawyer three months to track down. After
sending the information to the FHA, he received the following reply:

Actual letter:

"Upon review of your letter adjoining your client's loan application,
we
note that the request is supported by an Abstract of Title. While we
compliment the able manner in which you have prepared and presented the
application, we must point out that you have only cleared title to the
proposed collateral property back to 1803. Before final approval can be
accorded, it will be necessary to clear the title back to its origin."

Annoyed, the lawyer responded as follows:

Actual Letter:

"Your letter regarding title in Case No. 189156 has been received. I
note that you wish to have title extended further than the 194 years
covered by the present application.

I was unaware that any educated person in this country, particularly
those working in the property area, would not know that Louisiana was
purchased, by the U.S, from France in 1803, the year of origin
identified in our application.

For the edification of uninformed FHA bureaucrats, the title to the
land
prior to U.S ownership was obtained from France, which had acquired it
by Right of Conquest from Spain.

The land came into the possession of Spain by Right of Discovery made
in
the year 1492 by a sea captain named Christopher Columbus, who had been
granted the privilege of seeking a new route to India by the Spanish
monarch, Isabella.

The good queen, Isabella, being a pious woman and almost as careful
about titles as the FHA, took the precaution of securing the blessing
of
the Pope before she sold her jewels to finance Columbus ' expedition.

Now the Pope, as I 'm sure you may know, is the emissary of Jesus
Christ, the
Son of God, and God, it is commonly accepted , created this world.

Therefore, I believe it is safe to presume that God also made that part
of the
world called Louisiana .

God, therefore, would be the owner of origin and His origins date back
to before the beginning of time, the world as we know it AND the FHA.

I hope you find God's original claim to be satisfactory. Now, may we
have our damn loan ?"

He got the loan.

Gold, platinum and hair

Three little kids are sitting a staircase in the middle of the projects. They are, as all little kids have a tendancy to do, daydreaming and sharing them with their friends.
The first little kid says "Man, I wish I was made entirely out of gold."
The other kids ask: "Why gold?"
The first kid replies: "Because I would break off my pinky and buy that porsche over there."
The second kids says :"Well, I wish I was made entirely out of platinum, so I could break off my pinky nail and buy that Cadillac over there."
The third kid thinks about it and says "I wish I was made entirely out of hair"
The other two kids are laughing their asses off: "You’re so stupid, why would you want to be made out of hair?"
The third kid replies making the ’okay’ signal with his hand "Because my mom has a patch about THIS big and owns both those cars."

We do notice! The problem here is that politicians have gotten totally out of control.

I think we should throw them all out of office and start all over with a non-partisan government.........

RE: getting a little discouraged

Well, every common working citizen in the US needs to stand up and voice their opinion. We arent trying to be prejudice! We are just trying to survive in our own country.

Cheap Labor in America

Haha, well then I so apologize.........I thought it was aimed towards me. Please forgive.

Cheap Labor in America

There again, that is your opinion. And if you look under the category....it was under politics.

Easy to call someone an idiot over email.

Why dont you state your opinion? Thats all that I was doing.

And I do have a right to have an opinion here in the US as I served in the military for 20 friggin years. What have you done for your country lately?

See, there you go talking about discrimination. Thats not what this is all about. You come over here and pay the taxes for everyone elses benefits and then preach at me. I am not being prejudiced or discriminatory, I just want it to be equal to all parties.

What this is all about is trying to find the grounds where everyone has a fair shake. Where the middle class doesnt have to pay for everything. I am trying to raise 4 children and I work over 60 hrs a week just to try and make ends meet. And taxes? Aaargh! Lets not even talk about it.

Something needs to be done to where the common man isnt killing himself to try and support his family along with everyone elses at the same time.

And for some reason, I did think that this was important to share even though I knew that different opinions would be thrown at me from every direction. This is my opinion and I am entitled to it.

RE: 1. Iraq, the Middle East, and the US

Hope all goes well with you bro! Eyes open and head down, come back safe!

We never should have been there, but we are. Now what are we suppose to do? If we leave now, then all hell is going to break loose and tribal warfare will once again be rampant in the streets of Iraq. We have to make sure there is some sort of stability before we withdraw.
As bad as Saddam was, there are worse things that can happen to the people over there. All we need to do is pull out and watch the fireworks ensue.

Once again, I think we need to send the politicians who make the decisions to various areas around the world to see how their votes actually affect the world. As a soldier, you dont question your duty to your country and commander, you just do your job. But, it doesnt mean you always agree with what you have to do.
