I think yes... as I read posts from people in the forums I quite frequently will then go take a look at their profile

In my case, Christine responded to a thread of mine and looked at what was on my profile and appeared to like what she saw.
We exchanged a few more messages on the CS messenger that transited to our private accounts.
We are now engaged.
Taking the time to post your opinion affords others on the CS community the opportunity to know what you stand for.
It is worth the time, IMHO

I think that chatting in the forums draws attention to your profile. It allows people to get to know more about you than what you have written in your profile. Also, the number of people who actually participate in the Canada Forums is low. So, by participating, you allow others to learn about you. Good Luck! L.
