Some might argue that this book from Milan Kundera it is about love, and it is just on the surface. If we look deeper it's a treatise about two important things: First of all the lightness of being which refers to the fact that most of us pass by this life, but life does not pass by us. We don't leave any legacy to be remember in the future. Second of all the difference between casualty and causality, basically what the book says is that anything is this life happens without a reason. Everything is so perfectly design that for every circumstance there is a cause. If you see the matrix reloaded in a dialogue between Agent Smith and Neo there is also a well explained reference to this fact. What do u think? if the topic interests you
This is not in an arrogant ego driven mindset, but in an acceptance that I am all, and none.
That we are all inter-connested, and are all one, in this same dreaming.
Life, and this time in this body, for me, is a series of lessons, the term karmically, can be used for want of a term, and it is up to me to see the cause, 'The Lesson" in every part of my journey.
Light is vibration, an anergy that has vibration which can be scientifically proven, and for me, it is up to me on this life journey, to aspire to and accept all lessons, then to let go of the ego driven stumblings, so that my energy, my vibration, and 'life design', is acheived, and I may move closer to the same vibations as light, what I call 'going home'.
Hi my dear lady vader. I also like u not just today but every single day. U r so deep in ur thoughts, and i like u because u make me think ur words linger on my mind, and i always learn something good from u
I have always believed everything happens for a reason...some days we are just too damn blind to see what those reasons are...BUT eventually we get an "OH YEAH" moment!!!!!!!!
I am so in like with you Miguel with these thought provoking threads
I feel like I have arrived home because your threads ask the same questions and explore the same waters that I do with my visual work.
I share very similar philosophies with Lee. I believe that nothing is separate - I am part of all that is and as such am the lightness I seek. The illusion of separateness allows me to experience interaction, emotion and life through the 5 senses.
I used to think in terms of karma and lessons...these days it is more like a series of experiences ... I try not to label them as good and bad - they just are. That doesn't mean that I like them all - it just means that I acknowledge my part in their creation. Yes I believe there is a cause for every circumstance and by changing my awareness I can change the outcome.
I do not believe that life is happening to me. I believe that I am in a constant state of co-creation with a universe that is constantly creating. If I want a different expression of life than I have created then I need to become more mindful of what I put forth into the cosmic soup.
We pass by this life and we grab on to what we can. I believe we do leave a legacy of sorts in the people we meet and touch. I also believe there is an energetic resonance to everything so I wonder if we don't leave some kind of enegetic footprint. And if we do ... do we pick up traces of those who have gone before?
"History is just as light that the individual's life, unbearably light, light like a down, like a dust that flies off, like a thing that is going to disappear tomorrow." I like Milan Kundera
What do I think? It is a philosophic way...(it could take two or three posts for me to explain!)
Our knowledge are limited, our character and our will it is also. We are condemned to decide according to our miserable knowledge, subject to our particular situations. If we are free of our acts, then we are not free of their consequences. However these are the consequences of our acts that we want to orient, no our very acts. Between the two, the relation is sometimes obvious, sometimes complicated and subject to training and correction, but as sometimes inaccessible.
Example: I am free to travel anywhere. However, where I want to go? I want to go where I will find the woman/man of my life. But I cannot know where she/he can be. Therefore I am not free to go where I want.
The luck appears therefore to the level of the choices and the individual destiny, as being the expression of the important consequences that we undergo our own acts when these consequences are not to have no report of sense with the intention that these acts expressed. So we are responsible for what happens to us because what happens to us is consequence of our choices, but it takes place of a manner that we could not foresee to control nor.
We are therefore, in spite of a certain liberty and therefore responsibility that glues to our skin somewhere, finally submitted to the insidious dictatorship of the luck.
And God cannot help us to achieve what we want because he leaves us free of our acts. It can have total disproportion there between an act and its consequences.
The least reflex or the least hesitation can hire the whole life.
I hate to admit this... but I will..... I believe in the fact that everything happens for a reason... and I also believe in Serendipity... (an accidental discovery)... like... the guy who invented penicillin.. was actually researching something else, and low and behold.......
However, I really do not understand what this 'matrix reloaded' stuff is all about...... and some of the 'philisophical' stuff is really just plain beyond my scope of understanding....
A lot of people would not admit that.. but hey... I'm not above admitting I don't understand something...
I must say that I don't believe in luck, everything we don now has a consequence in the future, we may not be able to see it or distinguish it, but with time and a lot of thinking we will see it (well not all of us just the people who actually live their lifes from the inside, the others who live on the surface they will not see it) I also believe on those accidents in which we find things that we weren't expecting, and we learn from it.
feel you and when you go for that swim, and meet the ocean... take me with you!
close my eyes and, slip away for hither and yon to meet loves and touch upon brows... enter the being of spirit and, it just me... only Me take me into the water and I will taste the salts let the breezes wash over my time the meeting well, yet breif and feeling subtle, and soft let your chest fill with lightness and I saw hello, you...
