Gee, I love this Forum, its so Educational! I learning things here every day!
I just need this explained a bit more clearly..... this "renewal thing at easter time"? Wots chocolate bunnies and things got to do with Renewed Life? Are we discussing the hatching of chickens here?

I just hope this is not another of those things like the Santa Clause story..... I was devastated to learn last year that he does not exist!... and now I just so puzzled over WHO was it that came down the chimney at Christmas time, with all those gifts?.. never mind how the heck a guy so fat got down there in the first place, carrying a great big sack of gifts, and how he managed to land his sleigh with 12 reindeer on the steep pitch of the roof? dunno

Whats the Bible got to do with this quote? You, dear sir, have admitted to never having read it, quite proudly too, I do recall.

If you can please be so kind as to quote to me the Chapter wherein this "quote" is quoted I shall be delighted to educate myself even further!

Further to this stomach turning excercise, may I be allowed to shed some light on the darkness shining here? I do believe that somewhere you may have heard that the Biblical version of Christs Crucifiction took place on a certain Friday, and this Mythical Creature called the Christ is said to have arisen from his grave on the 3rd day..... and hence we have this Christian Belief of Renewed Life on the 3rd day of His Death. BUT, being a self-confessed non-believer in this Book of Hearsay and Repeated Scribblings by Illiterate Old Men, of Garbled Mythical Stories, I am simply amazed that somehow you have interpreted some Rambling Old Religious Preacher story as the meaning behind the CHOCOLATE EGGS.

Sorry, I just did not connect the subject of "Life Renewal"/Easter, as posted by a self-confessed Non-Believer in the Bible, with anything serious enough to warrant taking deep thought about.

The Idea, to Christianity, is just that, An Idea. There are no "Quotes" to quote from. Taking little pieces that suit you and throwing out what doesnt suit you, then lumping it all together as a lot of nonsense, is NOT Congruent, and therefore not worthy of any further comment.

Now, be realy brave, and start a |New Thread dealing with the Muslim Faith.

Christianity should never be confused with Catholicism.....The Roman Catholic Church embraced All Pagan Rituals and Beliefs to increase their membership. The Roman Catholic Church then burnt Heretics, which included anyone not Worshipping the Catholic Way, and also ALL the Wise Women, who were the Healers and Herbalists .... to enforce Male Dominance on Society... Contrary to the Matriarchal Systems.

Pure Christianity is something very few folk are even aware of.

Christianity has been dealt a Great Dis-service by being mistaken for the Follies carried out by the Catholic Church which has led people astray under the pretext of calling itself "Christian".

The Basis of Christianity is the Ten Commandments, the First Commandment being "You will not worship images". Another states "You will call no man Father". It's subtle... but its there!

Christianity is based on Christ. Observe a Catholic Ceremony, and decide if anything there even remotely resembles the humbleness of the Christ? Catholicism is not a choice, it is an inherited system of pagan worship. Personally I enjoy Paganism, just my own brand of it!
