I am having problems with my email i use hotmail. I change my password often and i always have strong password i have to write it down just so i don't forget it. hehe Messages from my account are being sent to a girl i know and bad ones. I can't see this person getting into my account. I was wondering if there is a way a person can make it seem like it come from my email even though it didn't. If anyone had any information on this i would appreciate it.

as far as l know the only way someone can do that is by going onto your email account. But l do know that if you have xp you can get onto someone elses computer and have control to fix or do things to their comp but you have to have given them permission to do that...they just cant do it on there own.
Other than that l know of no other way to take control.
Hope this helps...l have had the same thing happen to me last year, still havent figured out how it happens....

All it takes is one bored person and a hackers guide. In most messages your IP address can be found hidden in the background. Get rid of this account even if you are changing passwords they obviously can still get in. wine

Maybe they have spyware running on your computer. There's free spyware protection at Trojan Slayer on you Google. It'll run for 30 days before they start asking for money.

That kind of thing is definitely possible. They aren't getting access to your account though. I edited a magazine called Audyssey and some complete idiot decided to screw things up for me. One weekend while I was away, h or she sent a message to my list of more enthusiastic readers saying that I was shutting down the magazine and list. I of course had no such intentions but it created quite a rumpus until people figured out that the headers on the emails were wrong. Look at the headers of these messages that aparently come from you. I'd bet something similar is happening. I never had the problem again but I'm not entirely certain what happened. I had some very loyal and knowledgeable readers who may have taken steps against whoever wrote the didisruptive messsage. On the other hand, the guilty person might imply have decided not t cause further problems. Good luck in dealingwith this. I wish I could be more helpul.

Using Remote Assistance
This guide describes the following scenarios using Remote Assistance:

• Using Remote Assistance via Windows Messenger. This section shows how a home user initiates Remote Assistance via Windows Messenger to a trusted friend.

• Using Remote Assistance via saving a file. This section shows how to initiate a Remote Assistance invitation by saving the request as a file. This allows you to use Remote Assistance via Web-based e-mail such as Hotmail or other similar services.

• Using Remote Assistance via e-mail. This section explains initiating Remote Assistance via e-mail to a corporate Helpdesk. Home users can also follow this procedure to send a Remote Assistance request via e-mail.

• Offering Remote Assistance to a user. This section explains how to initiate a request to perform Remote Assistance on a user's computer in a corporate IT environment.

• Administering Remote Assistance in Corporate Environments. This section briefly addresses notes for administrators in order to manage Remote Assistance in a corporate environment.

Also there are programs if have a shared file open to others, have it so they cant change things. Or they might put programs on your computer that can watch your screen.

Turn off all shared files.

Turn off remote assistance in windows firewall.

Hope that helps take care.

One way that others can acces ur account is something we don't always think about. If you recieve a forwarded email from a contact and don't erase the previous emailer's addys before u forward it wherever it may end up gives someone a list of others addys, called 'hoarding emails'.
