Try this!-

Rituals/habits etc, we all have them for various things we do in life,smoking cigarettes is no exception.

Let's take,cigarette with coffee.Which coffee do you most enjoy with your cigarette,espresso - one sugar? -- change the coffee to espresso no sugar.Take a long time to smell the coffee and determine different odours, embed them in your memory banks. Write them down also- using words you can easily understand to descibe them.
Do the same with taste.( Do this without having a cigarette)

After completing the above, have your favourite coffee how you usually have it whislt smoking a cigarette and go through the same procedure.

Look at the other rituals/ habits you have in your life when smoking and think of appropiate ways of dealing with them using the senses and the mind.
